Bleeding tools

Bench bleed a new brake or clutch master with the EPDM bench bleeding line, in M10 x 1.0 or M12 x 1.0 to match the master outlet. Order one for each outlet. Pressure bleeder caps screw onto the reservoir in place of the lid and take air or a pressure bleeder through a Schrader valve. The 75mm x 3mm cap suits BM44, BM50 and BM57 masters (keep air pressure at 10 psi or less), and the 72mm x 3mm cap suits MX-5 NA and NB masters. For one-person bleeding at the caliper, the M10 x 1.0mm stainless speed bleeder has a check ball that stops air getting back in. It suits most Akebono, Sumitomo and Brembo calipers.

Spares for HFM.Parts brake masters

Keep a BM57 going with the 27mm rebuild kit, a replacement cap or a spare M10 tapered grub screw for the ABS port. The BM57 reservoir relocation kit moves the reservoir for engine swaps. The BMZ33 has its own M12 grub screw. When you fit any HFM.Parts brake master, the push rod adjusting tool sets booster push rod clearance. On a RHD 86 ZN6 or BRZ ZC6, the master cylinder stopper braces the master against firewall flex.

Bias, Wilwood fittings and cooling

The Wilwood 260-12627 bias valve has M10 x 1 bubble-flare ports to suit Nissan brake plumbing and cuts rear line pressure by up to 57%. Our 1/8″ NPT to M10 x 1.0mm stainless fittings convert Wilwood caliper inlets to metric lines, and come with every HFM.Parts brake kit that uses Wilwood calipers. For brake cooling, the 3″ silicone brake duct hose is rated to 310°C and sold in 2m or 4m lengths.
