Requirements
What it’s for
The cap replaces your reservoir lid while you bleed the brakes, so one person can do the job. It has a Schrader valve you can use two ways:
- Compressed air: pressurise the reservoir through the valve. Don’t go over 10 psi.
- Pressure bleeder: remove the valve insert and connect the hose from a pressure unit filled with fluid.
With the system under pressure, open each bleeder in sequence until no air is left in the system.
Will it fit?
It suits BM series brake masters with a 75mm x 3mm reservoir thread, such as the BM44, BM50 and BM57. That includes our BM57 and BM50 brake master cylinders. Other masters with the same 75mm x 3mm reservoir thread may also suit. Check your reservoir thread before ordering.
