Why choose the Forged Dynalite
The Forged Dynalite 120-13839 is a four-piston Wilwood caliper with a forged aluminium body and a single split bridge, spacer-less design. Stress-flow forging keeps the metal’s grain structure intact rather than cutting through it, and there are no steps between the piston housing and the bridges. It’s the caliper we use in our 280mm front brake kit for MX-5 NA and NB.
No dust boots
Like most Wilwood race calipers, the Dynalite runs without piston dust boots. Pad changes are simple: clean away any debris, push the pistons back and fit the new pads.

Fitting
The caliper inlet is a 1/8-27 NPT thread. If your brake lines use metric fittings, fit our Wilwood caliper conversion fittings to convert the inlet to metric. On the MX-5 NA and NB, mount the calipers with our 280mm caliper adaptor brackets. Bed in new pads using the Wilwood brake pad guide.
We recommend installation by a licensed mechanic.
