Overview

Why upgrade

These brackets let you fit factory 370Z front Akebono calipers, or the matching Infiniti G37, Q60 and Q70 calipers, over 354mm rotors on S-chassis Silvias and R-chassis Skylines. They’re machined from T6-6061 billet aluminium, hard anodised, and fitted with stainless steel Heli-Coils so the threads hold up over time.

Will it fit my car?

Front rotor size, stock to upgraded:

Silvia S13, S14, S15 280mm to 354mm
Skyline R32 GTS-T 280mm to 354mm
Skyline R33 GTS-T 296mm to 354mm
Skyline R34 GT 296mm to 354mm

You’ll also need:

  • HFM.Parts 354mm front two-piece rotors (Z3544932) or an OEM 370Z equivalent
  • A pair of 370Z Z34 front Akebono calipers or Infiniti G37, Q60, Q70 front calipers. Check the casting number reads 4502.
  • 18″ wheels or larger
  • Longer braided brake lines, as the factory lines sit at full extension

S13: these brackets suit 5-stud hubs. Upgrade to the factory S14 / S15 knuckle, 5-stud hub and lower control arm first.

R34 GT: your knuckle needs M12 caliper bolt holes.

The backing plate may need to be modified or removed to clear the larger rotor.

Fitting

Bolt the adaptor to the knuckle with the supplied M12 bolts, washers and support spacer, then torque the adaptor bolts to 58–62 ft-lb. Fit the rotor, then the caliper, and torque the caliper bolts to 58–62 ft-lb. Check the rotor clears the backing plate and bend the plate away if needed. Full steps are in the 354mm adaptor bracket install guide (RS354AKE).

Fitted correctly, the bracket sits close to the lower control arm. If your car keeps the factory steering lock, there should be no interference. We can't confirm fitment with aftermarket parts that change your steering angle.
Yes. The factory lines sit at full extension with this setup, so fit longer braided lines. We make them for the S-chassis, R32 GTS-T and R33 GTS-T.
These brackets suit 5-stud hubs. Upgrade to the factory S14 / S15 knuckle, 5-stud hub and lower control arm first.

    Fit perfectly on my S13, with just a little bit of trimming of the knuckle and caliper. Used a set of Infiniti Q60/Q70 rear calipers, exactly the same as 370Z and more readily available. Any of the Akebono calipers with 4101 casting number should work.

    I recently upgraded my Nissan S15 with these brake rotors and caliper adapters, and I am thoroughly impressed with their products and service. The materials used are high-quality, and the fitment and precision of their product was perfect! Originally I just wanted to enhance the aesthetics of the car with bigger brake rotors! But after the install of their front and rear rotor upgrade kits along with fresh brake pads, I noticed a significant improvement in braking power moving from old worn disks to theirs, not to mention better an overall driving experience.     This master cylinder did exactly what they said. Direct bolt on. And just works. We tested it in our Endurance v35 and had performed spot on. If your looking for an upgrade for your 25mm master I highly recommend this for a firmer pedal feel.
