Why fit one
This short antenna is 100mm long with a gradual taper and a solid look. It sits between classic and modern, without spoiling the lines of the car.
It’s machined from our T6-6061 billet aluminium and hard anodised black to stand up to life on the outside of the car.
This is a cosmetic antenna. It isn’t built for radio reception.
Will it fit my car?
- MX-5 NA with a manual antenna: fits the factory manual antenna hardware.
- MX-5 NB: the NB runs an electric antenna, so you’ll also need the antenna base conversion fitting.
- MX-5 NA with an electric antenna: not suitable.

Fitting
Swap the old antenna for the new one using the built-in 10mm spanner slot. No special tools needed. On an NB, fit the base conversion fitting first.
