What it does
The MX-5 NB came with an electric antenna. This base conversion fitting replaces it, so you can run the HFM.Parts billet aluminium short antenna on your NB.
It’s machined from T6-6061 billet aluminium.
Will it fit my car?
- MX-5 NB: yes. Remove the electric antenna and fit this base.
- MX-5 NA: not needed. The short antenna fits the NA’s factory manual antenna hardware on its own.
This fitting works with the HFM.Parts short antenna only.

Fitting
Remove the factory electric antenna, fit the base, then fit the short antenna using its built-in 10mm spanner slot.
