Requirements
What it’s for
The cap replaces your reservoir lid while you bleed the brakes, so one person can do the job. It has a Schrader valve you can use two ways:
- Compressed air: pressurise the reservoir through the valve.
- Pressure bleeder: remove the valve insert and connect the hose from a pressure unit filled with fluid.
With the system under pressure, open each bleeder in sequence until no air is left in the system.
Will it fit?
It suits Mazda MX-5 NA and NB brake masters. Other masters with the same 72mm x 3mm reservoir thread may also suit. Check your reservoir thread before ordering. Running a Nissan BM series master? You need the 75mm x 3mm bleeder cap.
