Why upgrade
The 350Z and V35 run 324mm front rotors. This kit bolts a pair of large, affordable factory 370Z front Akebono calipers over 354mm two-piece rotors for a bigger front brake.
What’s in the kit
- 354mm front two-piece rotors (pair). The ring is free to expand and contract as it heats and cools, and the heat-treated T6-7075 aluminium hat is black anodised and fixed with Conelock nuts and shoulder bolts.
- 354mm caliper adapter brackets for 350Z and V35 (pair), machined from T6-6061 billet aluminium, hard anodised, with stainless steel Heli-Coils. Bolt kit included.
- Optional front braided brake lines and rear braided brake lines, selected when you order.
Ready to fit
Two-piece rotors arrive with the hat and ring already bolted together, runout tested and balanced as an assembly. Always check the hat bolts are at 13–15 ft-lb before fitting, as you would with any two-piece rotor. Otherwise, it’s a direct bolt-on.
Will it fit my car?
Built for the Nissan 350Z Z33 and Skyline V35. You’ll need a pair of 370Z Z34 front Akebono calipers and 18″ wheels or larger. The factory front brake lines are too short for this kit, so you’ll need longer braided lines. A small section of the backing plate needs to be cut away to clear the bigger caliper.

Fitting
Clean any rust off the hub face before fitting the rotor, and trim the backing plate to clear the caliper. Use Loctite 262 or equivalent on all bracket bolts and torque the adapter and caliper bolts to 58–62 ft-lb. Full steps and a backing plate cutting guide are in the Z33AKE354 adaptor install guide.
