Requirements
Why upgrade the 86 and BRZ clutch master
The 86 and BRZ leave the factory with an 11/16″ clutch master, set up for a soft, comfortable pedal on the street. Fit an aftermarket clutch with a heavier diaphragm and the engagement point gets hard to judge. That leads to riding the clutch or stalling, and both wear out the clutch. The 5/8″ master gives you a more positive engagement point, so you know exactly where the clutch bites.
How it works
A smaller bore builds more pressure in the system for the same pedal effort. Paired with the factory 13/16″ slave, you get a softer pedal with a heavier clutch and a more progressive, linear feel through engagement. That makes rev-matching easier on track, and smooth take-offs more predictable on the street.

Fitting
Direct bolt-on replacement for the factory clutch master on RHD and LHD cars. No modifications required, and the factory clutch slave stays. Every HFM cylinder carries our lifetime warranty against manufacturing defects. We recommend installation by a licensed mechanic.

Braided Clutch Line (Hard Line Delete) for 86 / BRZ ZN6, ZC6 and the CR40 Chromoly Clutch Pivot Ball for 86 / BRZ ZN6, ZC6 for the rest of the clutch system. For a matching brake pedal, the 27mm High Volume Brake Master Cylinder (all RHD cars, plus LHD GR86).
