How To Adjust Clearance/Free Play
The distance between the push rod and clutch fork can vary depending on your setup. Eg.: pivot ball lengths, thrust bearing carrier lengths. Once installed, we recommend checking that you are able to spin the push rod between your thumb and index finger to ensure the right amount of clearance between the push rod and clutch fork.
This is a good starting point for creating your clearance adjustments. When you are happy with this, remember to adjust the free play of your clutch master push rod as well. Although you may not need any adjustments, free play should still be checked to prevent the clutch from “riding on.”
