[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Complaint #2 – Rough Idle & Stalling

A really horrible thing to happen to you if you’ve just bought a brand new car. Luckily this issue has been mainly reported in 2012 models and there doesn’t seem to be any sign of rough idling for newer models. But if you’ve had this issue with your newer model you’ll be happy to know that this problem has also been busted!

Most motor enthusiast websites state that the issue is actually software related and not a mechanical fault or flaw, and is easily fixed by a visit to Toyota for the cars ECU to be “Re-Flashed”.
If this is happening to your car, I highly recommend calling Toyota first to try Re-Flashing before allowing yourself or a mechanic to start replacing parts and tightening bolts, and racking up a big bill!
