Busted Complaints #1 - Stiff Suspension 1

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]All cars are not designed for all people.
That’s why we’ve designed a series of small posts depicting the most common complaints made by people who own a Toyota 86. We’ve busted each one and given you the info and tools to fix these issues so that you can continue to enjoy your 86 or bust any barriers stopping you from buying one. These complaints were made on numerous forums and probably to many Toyota Dealers.

If you have any complaints for your own 86, please write them in the comments and hopefully we can get around to busting them all![/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]Complaint #1 – Stiff Suspension

Now, I dunno about you. But when I think of a sports car. I definitely don’t think “wow it’s going to drive so smoothly! Being low to the ground means I won’t feel a thing beneath me!”. Anyone who does… leave this complaint and move on because I’m about to tease you some more. If you ask me, which by reading this you basically are, you should absolutely feel the road beneath you! Buying a sports car should mean that the car has been tuned like a sports car. That means the suspension as well. But, for someone who is driving an 86 every day or maybe on long drives you may find it a bit of a hard ride, especially if you have back problems already or maybe you just might not be used to the cars feeling.

There are some easy ways to deal with this but their not often ideal, change your tyre size down one, lowering the PSI etc. But if it’s really bothering you, I wouldn’t recommend anything except installing softer springs/shocks/struts and bushings. This method is expensive but it can be a god send.
